Beach hopping!

Day 15

In the morning, I met up with my friend Yuwei who lived in Sydney temporarily at the Darling Harbour to check out the Malaysian Food Festival.

To be honest, I was surprised that there were only a maximum of 10 food stalls at the park. The other stalls were mostly on merchandise sale.

Afterwards, we took the bus to Maroubra beach, which is about 10 km south-east of the CBD. On that day, we walked from Maroubra beach to the famous Sydney Bondi beach. The entire path was about 10 km long and it took us all day, with stops on each of the beaches that we past.

When we arrived in Maroubra beach, we saw this.

Then I asked Yuwei to investigate.

During our walk, we walked past 7 beaches, which included Maroubra, Lurline, Tamarama, Clovelly, Coogee, Bronte, Bondi. On our path, we saw multiple ocean pools, which I thought was such a beautiful idea to have.

Here is the view of Coogee beach.

At one point, while we were walking on the rock trails, we accidentally walked behind local residents’ backyards, which were basically cliffs to the ocean. After recognizing the difficulty to continue our path on cliffs, we had to turn back.

We walked till sunset.
